  3. To install Professional Calc 1.04 on your hard drive or on a back-up set of
  4. of floppies, simply drag the Professional Calc icon into the correct drawer.
  5.  
  6. Users may also use this disk to replace the original PROGRAM DISK and re-run
  7. the installation procedure. After the installation is complete, you may wish
  8. to copy the new Arexx samples from the drawer NEWREXXSAMPLES to your hard
  9. drive or floppy disk.

  12. Changes in Professional Calc 1.04
  13.  
  14.     Among various changes in this MAINTENANCE upgrade, the following 
  15.     additions to the program have been made:
  16.  
  17.     - A tool type has been added for users who only want to sort on one
  18.       field:
  19.  
  20.         SORTSINGLEFIELD=ON
  21.  
  22.         Using this tool type, users may sort on any column in the database
  23.         without a sub-sort being based on the adjoining column.
  24.  
  25.         This is a useful way to create sorts with sub-sorts on non-adjoining
  26.         columns. For example, if you wanted to sort a database
  27.         alphabetically by the first column 'LastName' in order of the fifth
  28.         column 'Postal Code' you would:
  29.  
  30.         · select your database
  31.         · place the cursor on the fifth column and select SORT COLUMN
  32.         · after the sort is complete, move the cursor to the first column
  33.           and select SORT COLUMN again
  34.  
  35.         The result would be a database sorted by 'LastName' and then
  36.         'PostalCode'.
  37.  
  38.         It is important to note that this option is a tool type and must be
  39.         turned on before running Professional Calc.

  41.     - Problems with saving and loading macros has been resolved.
  42.      
  43.         Note: Please delete all your old macros, then re-create them, the
  44.         old ones may not do what you wanted them to.
  45.  
  46.     - Included on this disk are new Arexx Samples.
